Elgydium Plaque Disclosing Toothpaste

Estimated Delivery:Oct 19 - Oct 23
A teaching toothpaste that colours the dental plaque left after brushing green, so adults and children can see where to brush better. Fresh apple flavour, with Fluorinol®.
For: The whole family, adults and children
Designed in collaboration with dentists, Elgydium Plaque Disclosing toothpaste is described by the brand as the first toothpaste able to colour the dental plaque that remains after brushing. A mix of natural food colorants with a specific affinity for plaque turns it green, so every member of the family can see what they missed and learn to brush more effectively, for cleaner teeth and gums every day.
It also contains Fluorinol® (1,000 ppm fluoride ions) to strengthen tooth enamel and Siliglycol to help fluoride bind, even after rinsing. The fresh apple flavour suits both children and adults, and it does not colour braces. Families can even turn it into a regular brushing contest to keep motivation high.

How to use
Use once or twice a week, preferably at night, alternating with your regular toothpaste (it can also be used daily). Brush for two to three minutes, rinse and check for any green colour; if some remains, brush again without toothpaste until it has gone.
Results
50% less dental plaque from the first brushing, with the effect maintained over the three-week study (45 adults and 44 children aged 7 to 12, 21 days). In a consumer test of 86 people, 80% of adults and children said it helped them learn to brush better; 88% of parents and 90% of children were satisfied.
